Stat. tit. 11, § 11-48-102","heading":"Control and management of system","body":"Every municipality or municipal authority establishing a\n\nretirement fund and system is authorized and directed to provide for\n\nthe control and management of the system by ordinance. The\n\nordinance shall provide, in addition to other provisions, for:\n\n1. The qualifications of the persons eligible for retirement\n\nbenefits;\n\n2. The minimum age for retirement of employees;\n\n3. The limitations of the amounts to be paid to persons\n\neligible for retirement benefits;\n\n4. A Board of Trustees to administer the fund, and the duties,\n\nmembership and powers of such board;\n\n5. The amount of contributions to be made by the municipality\n\nor authority, and the amount to be made by the employee, if any; and\n\n6. Such rules and regulations as the municipality or authority\n\nshall determine necessary for the proper regulation of the\n\nretirement system and fund.\n\nThe retirement fund and system shall be known as the \"Employee\n\nRetirement System of ________ (name of municipality), Oklahoma\" and\n\nby such name all of its business shall be transacted, all funds\n\nhandled and all of its cash and securities and other property held.\n\nAny municipality or any municipal authority may combine or pool by\n\ncontract with other municipalities and authorities pension and\n\nretirement funds for purposes of management and investment, and may\n\ncreate a single board of trustees for such purposes.
