Stat. tit. 11, § 11-49-105.1","heading":"Responsibility of local board to review certain","body":"applications.\n\nIt shall be the responsibility of the local board to review\n\napplications for retirement benefits and disability benefits. Each\n\nlocal board shall recommend approval, disapproval or modification of\n\neach application and the secretary shall forward such\n\nrecommendations to the State Board within ten (10) days following\n\nthe local board's decision. Consideration by the local board shall\n\nbe pursuant to this article and the rules and regulations of the\n\nState Board.
