Stat. tit. 11, § 11-49-105.2","heading":"Joining system - Application for affiliation -","body":"Consolidation of systems.\n\nA. An eligible employer may join the System on the first day of\n\nany month. Application for affiliation shall be in the form of a\n\nresolution approved by the governing body of the eligible employer\n\nor by any other body or officer authorized by law or recognized by\n\nthe State Board to approve such resolution or action. Upon the\n\nfiling of a certified copy of such resolution with the State Board,\n\nsuch election shall be irrevocable and the eligible employer shall\n\nbecome a participating municipality on the first day of the month\n\nimmediately following the filing of such election with the State\n\nBoard.\n\nB.
