Except as provided in subsection B of this section and\n\nexcept for persons receiving benefits pursuant to Section 49-101 of\n\nthis title, effective July 1, 2002, any person receiving benefits\n\nfrom the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System as of\n\nJune 30, 2001, who continues to receive benefits on or after July 1,\n\n2002, shall receive a five percent (5%) increase in said benefits on\n\nJuly 1, 2002.\n\nB. Any increase in benefits a person is eligible to receive\n\npursuant to repealed Section 49-136 of this title after June 30,\n\n2000, shall be used to offset the increase in benefits provided in\n\nsubsection A of this section.\n\nC.
