The Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System\n\nshall pay to its retirees, who retire not later than June 30, 1997,\n\nor their beneficiaries, from assets of the retirement system, an\n\nadditional amount, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998, based\n\nupon the number of years of credited service upon which the\n\nretirement benefit of the member was computed as follows:\n\n1. For paid firefighters:\n\na. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for at least ten\n\n(10), but no more than fourteen (14) years of service,\n\nb. Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) for at least fifteen\n\n(15), but no more than nineteen (19) years of service,\n\nc. Four Hundred Fifty Dollars ($450.00) for at least\n\ntwenty (20), but no more than twenty-four (24) years\n\nof service, and\n\nd. Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) for twenty-five (25) or\n\nmore years of service.\n\n2. For volunteer firefighters:\n\na. Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00) for at least ten (10),\n\nbut no more than fourteen (14) years of service,\n\nb. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for at least\n\nfifteen (15), but no more than nineteen (19) years of\n\nservice,\n\nc. Two Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($225.00) for at least\n\ntwenty (20), but no more than twenty-four (24) years\n\nof service, and\n\nd. Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) for twenty-five (25)\n\nor more years of service;\n\n3. One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for a paid firefighter\n\nwith less than ten (10) years of service who received a disability\n\nretirement; and\n\n4. Seventy-five Dollars ($75.00) for a volunteer firefighter\n\nwith less than ten (10) years of service who received a disability\n\nretirement.\n\nB. For purposes of subsection A or B of this section, months of\n\ncredited service in excess of a whole number of years shall be\n\ndisregarded for purposes of determining the applicable payment\n\namount.\n\nC. The payment authorized by this section shall be distributed\n\nnot later than August 1, 1997.\n\nD. The payment authorized by this section shall not be a\n\nrecurring benefit and shall only be made for the fiscal year ending\n\nJune 30, 1998, and for no other fiscal year.\n\nE.
