Except as provided in subsection B of this section and\n\nexcept for persons receiving benefits pursuant to Section 49-101 of\n\nTitle 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes, effective July 1, 2004, any\n\nperson receiving benefits from the Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and\n\nRetirement System as of June 30, 2003, who continues to receive\n\nbenefits on or after July 1, 2004, shall receive a four-percent\n\nincrease in said benefits beginning in July 2004.\n\nB. Any increase in benefits a person is eligible to receive\n\npursuant to repealed Section 49-136 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes after June 30, 2002, shall be used to offset the increase\n\nin benefits provided in subsection A of this section.\n\nC. Effective July 1, 2004, any persons receiving benefits\n\npursuant to Section 49-101 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes\n\nshall each receive a monthly benefit equal to Six Dollars and\n\nninety-six cents ($6.96) for each year of credited service not to\n\nexceed thirty (30) years of service.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2a2fa107f624edfde9c970775e8073d6a6787db794a2851b83a684e1d5959dca","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-49-143.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-49-143.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
