Stat. tit. 11, § 11-5-102","heading":"Order calling for election on question - Notice","body":"Within thirty (30) days after filing the petition for a city\n\nincorporating as a town, the board of county commissioners shall\n\ncall for an election for the purpose of submitting to the registered\n\nvoters of the city the question of whether or not such city shall\n\nbecome an incorporated town. The order calling for the election\n\nshall name the date for the election and shall be submitted to the\n\nsecretary of the county election board for the purpose of conducting\n\nthe election.
