Stat. tit. 11, § 11-50-113","heading":"Purposes of pension fund - Limitation on payments","body":"All the funds in the System shall be used only for the following\n\npurposes:\n\n1. For investments as authorized by law;\n\n2. For the payment of allowances to injured and disabled\n\nmembers of any participating municipality;\n\n3. For the payment of pensions for long service to retired\n\nmembers of any participating municipality;\n\n4. For the payment of a pension to any beneficiary of any\n\nmember eligible for a pension;\n\n5. For the payment of any professional services deemed\n\nnecessary by the State Board;\n\n6. For the payment of warrant deductions upon proper\n\nauthorization given by the member to the Board from which the member\n\nor beneficiary is currently receiving retirement benefits for any\n\ninsurance premium due an insurance organization for life, accident,\n\nand health insurance.\n\nThe System has no responsibility for the marketing, enrolling or\n\nadministration of the products for which warrant deductions are\n\nauthorized under this paragraph.\n\nApproval of a warrant deduction for any insurance organization,\n\nline of coverage or policy shall not be construed as an assumption\n\nof liability, for the terms of the policy or the performance of the\n\ninsurance organization by the Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement\n\nSystem;\n\n7. For the payment of membership dues in a statewide\n\nassociation limited to Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System\n\nmembers with a minimum membership of one thousand dues-paying\n\nmembers upon proper authorization given by the member; and\n\n8.
