Stat. tit. 11, § 11-51-107","heading":"Arbitrators - Selection","body":"Within five (5) days from the date of the request for\n\narbitration referred to in Section 51-106 of this title, the\n\nbargaining agent and the corporate authorities shall each select and\n\nname one arbitrator and shall immediately thereafter notify each\n\nother in writing of the name and address of the person so selected.\n\nThe two arbitrators so selected and named shall, within five (5)\n\ndays from and after the expiration of the five-day period\n\nhereinabove mentioned, agree upon and select a third arbitrator. If,\n\non the expiration of the period allowed therefor, the arbitrators\n\nare unable to agree upon the selection of a third arbitrator, the\n\nbargaining agent and the corporate authorities shall request the\n\nFederal Mediation and Conciliation Service to provide a list of five\n\narbitrators. Within five (5) days after receipt of the list of\n\narbitrators from the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the\n\ntwo arbitrators already selected shall alternately strike the name\n\nof one arbitrator from the list of five until one name remains, with\n\nthe employer making the first strike from said list.
