There is hereby created the Advisory Committee to the\n\nmunicipal clerks and treasurers division of the Oklahoma Department\n\nof Career and Technology Education which shall consist of five (5)\n\nmembers appointed by the Director of the Oklahoma Department of\n\nCareer and Technology Education. The Director shall appoint one\n\nmember he deems appropriate; one member from a list of three persons\n\nsubmitted by the Oklahoma Municipal League; one member from a list\n\nof three persons submitted by the Oklahoma Chapter of the Municipal\n\nFinance Officers Association; one member from a list of three\n\npersons submitted by the Oklahoma Chapter of the Municipal\n\nTreasurers Association; and one member from a list of three persons\n\nsubmitted by the Oklahoma Municipal Clerks, Treasurers and Finance\n\nOfficers Association. Terms of office shall be for three (3) years,\n\nand shall be made in the manner provided in this section. The\n\nnominees submitted for appointment by the organizations herein\n\nenumerated shall be officers or employees of cities and towns.\n\nB. The existing Commission members shall serve to the end of\n\ntheir terms of office as members of the Advisory Committee.\n\nThereafter, appointments shall be made as provided for by law. The\n\nCommittee shall elect from among its members a chairman and shall\n\nnot meet more than six (6) days in any one (1) fiscal year.\n\nC. Personnel employed by the Commission on June 30, 1986, shall\n\nbecome employees of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology\n\nEducation on July 1, 1986, without change in status as to duties and\n\ncompensation, including accrual of leave, and eligibility for\n\nlongevity payments and other benefits of employment, except as\n\notherwise provided by law.\n\nD.
