Definitions of terms used in the Municipal Campaign Finance\n\nand Financial Disclosure Act shall be the same as those terms are\n\ndefined in Rules of the Ethics Commission promulgated pursuant to\n\nSection 3 of Article XXIX of the Oklahoma Constitution, unless\n\notherwise provided herein.\n\nB. As used in the Municipal Campaign Finance and Financial\n\nDisclosure Act:\n\n1. “Campaign committee” means a committee which may be composed\n\nof one or more persons the purpose of which is to support the\n\nelection of a specific candidate to municipal office, whose name as\n\nit will appear on the ballot shall appear in the name of the\n\ncommittee;\n\n2. “Municipal office” means any elective municipal office\n\nestablished under state or municipal law; and\n\n3. “Municipal political committee” means any committee composed\n\nof one or more persons whose purpose includes the election or defeat\n\nof one or more candidates for municipal office but which is not\n\nrequired to register with the Federal Election Commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 11"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os11.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"75839428830b132b5cfe951c5d4db358f4cb520686ffe4733afccbcdd6baf62f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-56-101","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-11-11-56-103"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
