Stat. tit. 12, § 12-1147.1","heading":"Determination of rights of living persons and persons","body":"not in being - Direction for sale and holding proceeds in trust.\n\nIf it shall appear in any suit or proceeding in a district court\n\ninvolving real estate that any person or persons not in being are or\n\nmay become entitled to, or may upon coming into being claim to be\n\nentitled to, any future interest in such real estate, legal or\n\nequitable, and if it further appears to be expedient or for the best\n\ninterests of all concerned, the court may by order determine the\n\nrights of all living persons in such real estate and the\n\ncircumstances under which persons not then in being may claim an\n\ninterest therein in the future and determine the nature and extent\n\nof any such interest or claim and may direct the sale of the full\n\ntitle to the real estate in which such future interest may be\n\nclaimed, and direct that the proceeds of the sale shall be held as a\n\ntrust in lieu of the real estate so sold to be administered as\n\nhereinafter provided.","path":["OK Code","Title 12"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"330bfb6bed86177cceedc2e596d007bf3afbc77b5fe2df92e77a4c839c9378c2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-1146","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-1147.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
