Stat. tit. 12, § 12-1159","heading":"Service of order - Custody of attached property - Filing","body":"of order.\n\nWhen the property attached is real property, the officer shall\n\nleave a copy of the order with the occupant, or, if there be no\n\noccupant, then a copy of the order shall be posted in a conspicuous\n\nplace on the real property. Where it is personal property, and he\n\ncan get possession, he shall take such into his custody, and hold it\n\nsubject to the order of the court.\n\nWhen the property attached is real property, third parties shall\n\nnot be affected until a copy of the attachment order and the legal\n\ndescription of the real property attached shall be filed and placed\n\nof record with the county clerk of the county where the real\n\nproperty is located.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 4820.
