Stat. tit. 12, § 12-1233","heading":"Garnishee may pay money into court","body":"A garnishee may pay the money owing to the defendant by him to\n\nthe sheriff having the order of attachment, or into court. He shall\n\nbe discharged from liability to the defendant for any money so paid,\n\nnot exceeding the plaintiff's claim.
