Stat. tit. 12, § 12-1332","heading":"Application - How made - Contents","body":"Application for the writ shall be made by petition, signed and\n\nverified either by the plaintiff or by some person in his behalf,\n\nand shall specify:\n\nFirst. By whom the person in whose behalf the writ is applied\n\nfor is restrained of his liberty, and the place where, naming all\n\nthe parties, if they are known, or describing them, if they are not\n\nknown.\n\nSecond. The cause or pretense of the restraint, according to\n\nthe best of the knowledge and belief of the applicant.\n\nThird.
