Stat. tit. 12, § 12-140.1","heading":"Transfer of case to other county","body":"When the court orders the transfer of a case upon a showing by a\n\nparty that the venue is or should be in some other county, the clerk\n\nof the court shall prepare a transcript of all the papers filed,\n\norders entered, and a bill of the costs accrued. The clerk shall\n\ncollect a new filing fee and shall forthwith transmit by certified\n\nmail such files and transcript of the cause and the filing fee which\n\nshall be due to the clerk of the court to which transfer is ordered.\n\nUnless otherwise ordered by the court, the plaintiff shall be\n\nresponsible for appropriate filing fees when a case is brought in\n\nthe wrong venue and transferred to a court having proper venue.
