Stat. tit. 12, § 12-1571.1","heading":"Damage, concealment or removal of property subject to","body":"order of delivery - Penalty.\n\nAny person who willfully and knowingly damages property in which\n\nthere exists a valid right to issuance of an order of delivery, or\n\non which such order has been sought under the provisions of this\n\nact, or who conceals it, with the intent to interfere with\n\nenforcement of the order, or who removes it from the jurisdiction of\n\nthe court in which the action is pending with the intention of\n\ndefeating enforcement of an order of delivery, or who willfully\n\nrefuses to disclose its location to an officer charged with\n\nexecuting an order for its delivery, or, if such property is in his\n\npossession, willfully interferes with the officer charged with\n\nexecuting such writ, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and if\n\nconvicted shall be subject to a fine of not more than One Thousand\n\nDollars ($1,000.00) and imprisonment for a term of not more than six\n\n(6) months, or both; and, in addition to such criminal penalties,\n\nshall be liable to the plaintiff for double the amount of damage\n\ndone to the property together with a reasonable attorney's fee to be\n\nfixed by the court, which damages and fee shall be deemed based on\n\ntortious conduct and enforceable accordingly.","path":["OK Code","Title 12"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9f3d4f85228fdf7d09b249b2d434301c9f794564a33878cef3da626b7d1e66bf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-1571","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-1573"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
