Stat. tit. 12, § 12-1756","heading":"Date for appearance of defendant","body":"The date for the appearance of the defendant as provided in the\n\norder endorsed on the affidavit shall not be more than sixty (60)\n\ndays nor less than ten (10) days from the date of the order. The\n\norder shall be served upon the defendant at least seven (7) days\n\nprior to the date specified in the order for the appearance of the\n\ndefendant. If it is not served upon the defendant, the plaintiff\n\nshall apply to the clerk for a new order setting a new day for the\n\nappearance of the defendant, which shall not be more than sixty (60)\n\ndays nor less than ten (10) days from the date of the issuance of\n\nthe new order.
