On motion to an arbitrator by a party to an arbitration\n\nproceeding, the arbitrator may modify or correct an award:\n\n1. Upon a ground stated in paragraph 1 or 3 of subsection A of\n\nSection 25 of this act;\n\n2. Because the arbitrator has not made a final and definite\n\naward upon a claim submitted by the parties to the arbitration\n\nproceeding; or\n\n3. To clarify the award.\n\nB. A motion under subsection A of this section must be made and\n\nnotice given to all parties within twenty (20) days after the movant\n\nreceives notice of the award.\n\nC. A party to the arbitration proceeding must give notice of\n\nany objection to the motion within ten (10) days after receipt of\n\nthe notice.\n\nD. If a motion to the court is pending under Section 23, 24 or\n\n25 of this act, the court may submit the claim to the arbitrator to\n\nconsider whether to modify or correct the award:\n\n1. Upon a ground stated in paragraph 1 or 3 of subsection A of\n\nSection 25 of this act;\n\n2. Because the arbitrator has not made a final and definite\n\naward upon a claim submitted by the parties to the arbitration\n\nproceeding; or\n\n3. To clarify the award.\n\nE.
