A \"cleric\" is a minister, priest, rabbi, accredited\n\nChristian Science practitioner or other similar functionary of a\n\nreligious organization, or any individual reasonably believed to be\n\na cleric by the person consulting the cleric; and\n\n2. A communication is \"confidential\" if made privately and not\n\nintended for further disclosure except to other persons present in\n\nfurtherance of the purpose of the communication.\n\nB. A person has a privilege to refuse to disclose and to\n\nprevent another from disclosing his confidential communication made\n\nto a clergyman acting in his professional capacity.\n\nC. The privilege may be claimed by the person, by the person’s\n\nguardian or conservator, or by the person’s personal representative\n\nif the person is deceased.
