Stat. tit. 12, § 12-30","heading":"Each case to be kept separate - Correction of case number","body":"or other identifying data.\n\nThe papers in each case shall be kept in a separate file marked\n\nwith the title and number of the case. If the court clerk discovers\n\na pleading or other paper which has been filed or submitted for\n\nfiling that bears an incorrect case number or other incorrect\n\nidentifying data, the court clerk shall correct the case number or\n\nother incorrect identifying data and enter a notation on the docket\n\nsheet of both cases recording the correction. The corrected\n\npleading or other paper shall be placed in the court file bearing\n\nthe corrected case number.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 5330.
