Stat. tit. 12, § 12-3001","heading":"Definitions","body":"For purposes of this Code:\n\n1. \"Writings\" and \"recordings\" means letters, words, or\n\nnumbers, or their equivalent, inscribed on a tangible medium or\n\nstored in an electronic or other machine and retrievable in\n\nperceivable form by handwriting, typewriting, printing,\n\nphotostating, photographing, mechanical or electronic recording, or\n\nother technique;\n\n2. \"Photographs\" mean a form of a record which consists of\n\nstill photographs, stored images, x-ray films, video tapes, or\n\nmotion pictures;\n\n3. An \"original\" of a writing, recording, or other record means\n\nthe writing, recording, or other record itself or any counterpart\n\nintended to have the same effect by a person executing or issuing\n\nit. An \"original\", when applied to a photograph, includes the\n\nnegative or any print therefrom. The term \"original\" includes a\n\nprint out or other perceivable output of a record of data or images\n\nstored in a computer or similar device if shown to reflect the data\n\nor images accurately;\n\n4.
