Stat. tit. 12, § 12-3009","heading":"Medical bills - Identification","body":"Upon the trial of any civil case involving injury, disease or\n\ndisability, the patient, a member of the patient’s family or any\n\nother person responsible for the care of the patient, shall be a\n\ncompetent witness to identify doctor bills, hospital bills,\n\nambulance service bills, drug bills and similar bills for expenses\n\nincurred in the treatment of the patient upon a showing by the\n\nwitness that such bills were received from a licensed practicing\n\nphysician, hospital, ambulance service, pharmacy, drug store, or\n\nsupplier of therapeutic or orthopedic devices, and that such\n\nexpenses were incurred in connection with the treatment of the\n\ninjury, disease or disability involved in the subject of litigation\n\nat trial.
