A collaborative law participation agreement must:\n\n1. Be in a record;\n\n2. Be signed by the parties;\n\n3. State the parties’ intention to resolve a collaborative\n\nmatter through a collaborative law process under this act;\n\n4. Describe the nature and scope of the matter;\n\n5. Identify the collaborative lawyer who represents each party\n\nin the process; and\n\n6. Contain a statement by each collaborative lawyer confirming\n\nthe lawyer’s representation of a party in the collaborative law\n\nprocess.\n\nB.
