Stat. tit. 12, § 12-3306","heading":"Proceedings pending before tribunal — Status report","body":"PROCEEDINGS PENDING BEFORE TRIBUNAL; STATUS REPORT.\n\nA. Persons in a proceeding pending before a tribunal may sign a\n\ncollaborative law participation agreement to seek to resolve a\n\ncollaborative matter related to the proceeding. The parties shall\n\nfile promptly with the tribunal a notice of the agreement after it\n\nis signed. Subject to subsection C of this section and Sections 7\n\nand 8 of this act, the filing operates as an application for a stay\n\nof the proceeding.\n\nB. The parties shall file promptly with the tribunal notice in\n\na record when a collaborative law process concludes. The stay of\n\nthe proceeding under subsection A of this section is lifted when the\n\nnotice is filed. The notice may not specify any reason for\n\ntermination of the process.\n\nC. A tribunal in which a proceeding is stayed under subsection\n\nA of this section may require the parties and collaborative lawyers\n\nto provide a status report on the collaborative law process and the\n\nproceeding. A status report may include only information on whether\n\nthe process is ongoing or concluded. It may not include a report,\n\nassessment, evaluation, recommendation, finding, or other\n\ncommunication regarding a collaborative law process or collaborative\n\nlaw matter.\n\nD. A tribunal may not consider a communication made in\n\nviolation of subsection C of this section.\n\nE.
