A foreign-country judgment may not be refused recognition\n\nfor lack of personal jurisdiction if:\n\n1. The defendant was served with process personally in the\n\nforeign country;\n\n2. The defendant voluntarily appeared in the proceeding, other\n\nthan for the purpose of protecting property seized or threatened\n\nwith seizure in the proceeding or of contesting the jurisdiction of\n\nthe court over the defendant;\n\n3. The defendant, before the commencement of the proceeding,\n\nhad agreed to submit to the jurisdiction of the foreign court with\n\nrespect to the subject matter involved;\n\n4. The defendant was domiciled in the foreign country when the\n\nproceeding was instituted or was a corporation or other form of\n\nbusiness organization that had its principal place of business in,\n\nor was organized under the laws of, the foreign country;\n\n5. The defendant had a business office in the foreign country\n\nand the proceeding in the foreign court involved a cause of action\n\narising out of business done by the defendant through that office in\n\nthe foreign country; or\n\n6. The defendant operated a motor vehicle or airplane in the\n\nforeign country and the proceeding involved a cause of action\n\narising out of that operation.\n\nB. The list of bases for personal jurisdiction in subsection A\n\nof this section is not exclusive.
