Stat. tit. 12, § 12-723","heading":"Stay","body":"(a) If the judgment debtor shows the district or superior court\n\nof the county in which the judgment is filed that an appeal from the\n\nforeign judgment is pending or will be taken, or that a stay of\n\nexecution has been granted, the court shall stay enforcement of the\n\nforeign judgment until the appeal is concluded, or until the time\n\nfor appeal expires, or until the stay of execution expires or is\n\nvacated, upon proof that the judgment debtor has furnished the\n\nsecurity for the satisfaction of the judgment required by the law of\n\nthe state in which it was rendered.\n\n(b) If the judgment debtor shows the district or superior court\n\nof the county in which the judgment is filed any ground upon which\n\nenforcement of a judgment of that court would be stayed, the court\n\nshall stay enforcement of the foreign judgment for an appropriate\n\nperiod, upon requiring the same security for satisfaction of the\n\njudgment which is required in this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 12"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"13ecb5e94fdf94ca0c5bd1862be35adb14cba3c0c96bf963226040bc0c639dc7","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-722","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-724"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
