Stat. tit. 12, § 12-771","heading":"Levy on realty under several executions","body":"In all cases where two or more executions shall be put into the\n\nhands of any sheriff or other officer, and it shall be necessary to\n\nlevy on real estate to satisfy the same, and either of the judgment\n\ncreditors, in whose favor one or more of said executions are issued,\n\nshall require the sheriff or other officer to levy said executions,\n\nor so many thereof as may be required, on separate parcels of the\n\nreal property of the judgment debtor or debtors, giving to the\n\nofficer making the levy on behalf of the creditors, whose execution\n\nmay, by the provisions of this article, be entitled to a preference,\n\nthe choice of such part of the real property of the judgment debtor\n\nor debtors, as will be sufficient, at two-thirds (2/3) of the\n\nappraised value, to satisfy the same; and in all cases where two or\n\nmore executions, which are entitled to no preference over each\n\nother, are put in the hands of the same officer, it shall be the\n\nduty of the officer, when required, to levy the same on separate\n\nparcels of the real property of the judgment debtor or debtors,\n\nwhen, in the opinion of the appraisers, the same may be divided\n\nwithout material injury; and if the real property of said debtors\n\nwill not be sufficient, at two-thirds (2/3) of its appraised value,\n\nto satisfy all the executions chargeable thereon, such part of the\n\nsame shall be levied on, to satisfy each execution, as will bear the\n\nsame proportion in value to the whole, as the amount due to the\n\nexecution bears to the amount of all the executions chargeable\n\nthereon, as near as may be according to the appraised value of each\n\nseparate parcel of said real property.","path":["OK Code","Title 12"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6794e12f7e987682ce86350e2572bf6306a07e23545892316f29b5f26c5e01d2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-770","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12-12-772"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
