Stat. tit. 12, § 12-951","heading":"Appellate jurisdiction of the district court","body":"(a) A judgment rendered, or final order made, by any tribunal,\n\nboard or officer exercising judicial functions, and inferior in\n\njurisdiction to the district court, may be reversed, vacated or\n\nmodified by the district court except where an appeal to some other\n\ncourt is provided by law.\n\n(b) Unless otherwise provided by law, proceedings for review of\n\na judgment or final order shall be commenced by filing a petition in\n\nthe district court of the county where the inferior tribunal, board\n\nor officer rendered the order within thirty (30) days of the date\n\nthat a copy of the judgment or final order is mailed to the\n\nappellant, as shown by the certificate of mailing attached to the\n\njudgment or final order.\n\nR.L. 1910, § 5235.
