Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-306B","heading":"Law governing perfection and priority of security","body":"interests in controllable accounts, controllable electronic records,\n\nand controllable payment intangibles.\n\nLAW GOVERNING PERFECTION AND PRIORITY OF SECURITY INTERESTS IN\n\nCONTROLLABLE ACCOUNTS, CONTROLLABLE ELECTRONIC RECORDS, AND\n\nCONTROLLABLE PAYMENT INTANGIBLES\n\n(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, the\n\nlocal law of the controllable electronic record's jurisdiction\n\nspecified in subsections (c) and (d) of Section 12-107 of this title\n\ngoverns perfection, the effect of perfection or nonperfection, and\n\nthe priority of a security interest in a controllable electronic\n\nrecord and a security interest in a controllable account or\n\ncontrollable payment intangible evidenced by the controllable\n\nelectronic record.\n\n(b) The local law of the jurisdiction in which the debtor is\n\nlocated governs:\n\n(1) perfection of a security interest in a controllable\n\naccount, controllable electronic record, or controllable payment\n\nintangible by filing; and\n\n(2) automatic perfection of a security interest in a\n\ncontrollable payment intangible created by a sale of the\n\ncontrollable payment intangible.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"506aefda6c9c726e1b9dd937abb11a7cc0825ac344d973620b4b9ebd485c46fb","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-306a","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-307"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
