Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-325","heading":"Priority of security interests in transferred","body":"collateral.\n\nPRIORITY OF SECURITY INTERESTS IN TRANSFERRED COLLATERAL\n\n(a) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) of this\n\nsection, a security interest created by a debtor is subordinate to a\n\nsecurity interest in the same collateral created by another person\n\nif:\n\n(1) the debtor acquired the collateral subject to the security\n\ninterest created by the other person;\n\n(2) the security interest created by the other person was\n\nperfected when the debtor acquired the collateral; and\n\n(3) there is no period thereafter when the security interest is\n\nunperfected.\n\n(b) Subsection (a) of this section subordinates a security\n\ninterest only if the security interest:\n\n(1) otherwise would have priority solely under subsection (a)\n\nof Section 1-9-322 or Section 1-9-324 of this title; or\n\n(2) arose solely under paragraph (3) of Section 2-711 or\n\nparagraph (5) of Section 2A-508 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8684aa7317b1125e2d3cce3111e6597a59b6656291e272627c5acf69a0941f56","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-324","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-326"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
