Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-336","heading":"Commingled goods","body":"COMMINGLED GOODS\n\n(a) In this section, “commingled goods” means goods that are\n\nphysically united with other goods in such a manner that their\n\nidentity is lost in a product or mass.\n\n(b) A security interest does not exist in commingled goods as\n\nsuch. However, a security interest may attach to a product or mass\n\nthat results when goods become commingled goods.\n\n(c) If collateral becomes commingled goods, a security interest\n\nattaches to the product or mass.\n\n(d) If a security interest in collateral is perfected before\n\nthe collateral becomes commingled goods, the security interest that\n\nattaches to the product or mass under subsection (c) of this section\n\nis perfected.\n\n(e) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (f) of this\n\nsection, the other provisions of this part determine the priority of\n\na security interest that attaches to the product or mass under\n\nsubsection (c) of this section.\n\n(f) If more than one security interest attaches to the product\n\nor mass under subsection (c) of this section, the following rules\n\ndetermine priority:\n\n(1) A security interest that is perfected under subsection (d)\n\nof this section has priority over a security interest that is\n\nunperfected at the time the collateral becomes commingled goods.\n\n(2) If more than one security interest is perfected under\n\nsubsection (d) of this section, the security interests rank equally\n\nin proportion to value of the collateral at the time it became\n\ncommingled goods.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"89ee060310409eabd09301d0e0db6ac70714a2b873c7c90f610f0d181217e6a2","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-335","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-337"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
