Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-337","heading":"Priority of security interests in goods covered by","body":"certificate of title.\n\nPRIORITY OF SECURITY INTERESTS IN\n\nGOODS COVERED BY CERTIFICATE OF TITLE\n\nIf, while a security interest in goods is perfected by any\n\nmethod under the law of another jurisdiction, this state issues a\n\ncertificate of title that does not show that the goods are subject\n\nto the security interest or does not contain a statement that they\n\nmay be subject to security interests not shown on the certificate:\n\n(1) a buyer of the goods, other than a person in the business\n\nof selling goods of that kind, takes free of the security interest\n\nif the buyer gives value and receives delivery of the goods after\n\nissuance of the certificate and without knowledge of the security\n\ninterest; and\n\n(2) the security interest is subordinate to a conflicting\n\nsecurity interest in the goods that attaches, and is perfected under\n\nsubsection (b) of Section 1-9-311 of this title, after issuance of\n\nthe certificate and without the conflicting secured party’s\n\nknowledge of the security interest.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"682611e4b98f8301b0afaaa1cf4349da623004a814749d2ff7c2ea26e61638ed","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-336","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-338"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
