Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-511","heading":"Secured party of record","body":"SECURED PARTY OF RECORD\n\n(a) A secured party of record with respect to a financing\n\nstatement is a person whose name is provided as the name of the\n\nsecured party or a representative of the secured party in an initial\n\nfinancing statement that has been filed. If an initial financing\n\nstatement is filed under subsection (a) of Section 1-9-514 of this\n\ntitle, the assignee named in the initial financing statement is the\n\nsecured party of record with respect to the financing statement.\n\n(b) If an amendment of a financing statement which provides the\n\nname of a person as a secured party or a representative of a secured\n\nparty is filed, the person named in the amendment is a secured party\n\nof record.
