Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-525.1","heading":"Disposition of fees","body":"DISPOSITION OF FEES\n\n(a) There is hereby created a cash account to be known as the\n\n“Oklahoma County Clerk’s Uniform Commercial Code Central Filing\n\nFund”. The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal\n\nyear limitations, and shall consist of all fees and penalties\n\ncollected pursuant to Section 1-9-525 of this title by the county\n\nclerk of Oklahoma County, all monies otherwise credited to the\n\naccount, and any interest accruing thereon.\n\n(b) Monies in this account shall be expended in the following\n\namounts for the following purposes:\n\n(1) Of the fees collected pursuant to paragraphs (1) and (2) of\n\nsubsection (a) of Section 1-9-525 of this title, Five Dollars\n\n($5.00) shall be paid monthly by the thirtieth day following the\n\nmonth in which collected to the general fund of Oklahoma County as a\n\nliquidated fee for capital and other expenses associated with\n\noperation of the filing office; and\n\n(2) All other fees or parts of fees and any interest accruing\n\nto this account shall be expended by the county clerk of Oklahoma\n\nCounty for the lawful operation of the filing office.\n\n(c) The county clerk of Oklahoma County may, by rule, establish\n\nprepaid fee accounts. If adopted, the rule shall provide for at\n\nleast the following:\n\n(1) An application for an account on a form prescribed in the\n\nrule;\n\n(2) A one-time application fee of not more than Twenty Dollars\n\n($20.00);\n\n(3) Acceptable methods of making deposits to an account;\n\n(4) Any requirements for a minimum initial deposit, a minimum\n\nbalance, and a minimum amount for subsequent deposits;\n\n(5) The fees and penalties which may be paid from the account;\n\n(6) Procedures for making deposits to and payments from an\n\naccount; and\n\n(7) Procedures for closing an account.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d50df71b72abd1f49ef037914a130c77b21a0b7415a17ef8d20ae8e5143bac0d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-525","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-526"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
