Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-526","heading":"Filing-office rules","body":"FILING-OFFICE RULES\n\n(a) The county clerk of Oklahoma County shall adopt and publish\n\nrules to implement this article. The filing-office rules must be:\n\n(1) consistent with this article; and\n\n(2) adopted and published in accordance with Section 1-9-526.1\n\nof this title.\n\n(b) To keep the filing-office rules and practices of the filing\n\noffice in harmony with the rules and practices of filing offices in\n\nother jurisdictions that enact substantially this part, and to keep\n\nthe technology used by the filing office compatible with the\n\ntechnology used by filing offices in other jurisdictions that enact\n\nsubstantially this part, the county clerk of Oklahoma County, so far\n\nas is consistent with the purposes, policies, and provisions of this\n\narticle, in adopting, amending, and repealing filing-office rules,\n\nshall:\n\n(1) consult with filing offices in other jurisdictions that\n\nenact substantially this part;\n\n(2) consult the most recent version of the Model Rules\n\npromulgated by the International Association of Corporate\n\nAdministrators or any successor organization; and\n\n(3) take into consideration the rules and practices of, and the\n\ntechnology used by, filing offices in other jurisdictions that enact\n\nsubstantially this part.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8fe13797cfa242f448f76f9560ef2b5e7c40b4e034eaf0b15b90294891ab125a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-525.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-526.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
