Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-609","heading":"Secured party’s right to take possession after","body":"default.\n\nSECURED PARTY’S RIGHT TO TAKE POSSESSION AFTER DEFAULT\n\n(a) After default, a secured party:\n\n(1) may take possession of the collateral; and\n\n(2) without removal, may render equipment unusable and dispose\n\nof collateral on a debtor’s premises under Section 1-9-610 of this\n\ntitle.\n\n(b) A secured party may proceed under subsection (a) of this\n\nsection:\n\n(1) pursuant to judicial process; or\n\n(2) without judicial process, if it proceeds without breach of\n\nthe peace.\n\n(c) If so agreed, and in any event after default, a secured\n\nparty may require the debtor to assemble the collateral and make it\n\navailable to the secured party at a place to be designated by the\n\nsecured party which is reasonably convenient to both parties.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8517ceaeb20cd5a87d439e8e88b6a8e868ccd1f62b4b44664083ac8f747e79c3","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-608","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-610"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
