Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-623","heading":"Right to redeem collateral","body":"RIGHT TO REDEEM COLLATERAL\n\n(a) A debtor, any secondary obligor, or any other secured party\n\nor lienholder may redeem collateral.\n\n(b) To redeem collateral, a person shall tender:\n\n(1) fulfillment of all obligations secured by the collateral;\n\nand\n\n(2) the reasonable expenses and attorney’s fees described in\n\nparagraph (1) of subsection (a) of Section 1-9-615 of this title.\n\n(c) A redemption may occur at any time before a secured party:\n\n(1) has collected collateral under Section 1-9-607 of this\n\ntitle;\n\n(2) has disposed of collateral or entered into a contract for\n\nits disposition under Section 1-9-610 of this title; or\n\n(3) has accepted collateral in full or partial satisfaction of\n\nthe obligation it secures under Section 1-9-622 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2c159f0e1c62c5996a11cf95202c90e841b6d76ab46fef2fbb392e1c07fcf314","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-622","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-624"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
