Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-1-9-803","heading":"Security interest perfected before effective date","body":"SECURITY INTEREST PERFECTED BEFORE EFFECTIVE DATE\n\n(a) A security interest that is a perfected security interest\n\nimmediately before this act takes effect is a perfected security\n\ninterest under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code as amended\n\nby this act if, when this act takes effect on November 1, 2015, the\n\napplicable requirements for attachment and perfection under Article\n\n9 of the Uniform Commercial Code as amended by this act are\n\nsatisfied without further action.\n\n(b) Except as otherwise provided in Section 21 of this act, if,\n\nimmediately before this act takes effect, a security interest is a\n\nperfected security interest, but the applicable requirements for\n\nperfection under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code as amended\n\nby this act are not satisfied when this act takes effect on November\n\n1, 2015, the security interest remains perfected thereafter only if\n\nthe applicable requirements for perfection under Article 9 of the\n\nUniform Commercial Code as amended by this act are satisfied within\n\none (1) year after this act takes effect.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"026ed651d682195efea37bbe6877556a8689e720fd7a5729280616f73532ce8e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-802","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-1-9-804"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
