Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-11-104","heading":"Transition Provision on Change of Place of Filing","body":"Transition Provision on Change of Place of Filing. -\n\n(1) A financing statement or continuation statement filed prior\n\nto October 1, 1981, which shall not have lapsed prior to that date\n\nshall remain effective for the period provided in the unamended\n\nversion of the U.C.C., but for not less than five (5) years after\n\nthe filing.\n\n(2) With respect to any collateral acquired by the debtor\n\nsubsequent to the effective date of this act, any effective\n\nfinancing statement or continuation statement described in this\n\nsection shall apply only if the filing or filings are in the office\n\nor offices that would be appropriate to perfect the security\n\ninterests in the new collateral under the provisions of this act.\n\n(3) The effectiveness of any financing statement or\n\ncontinuation statement filed prior to the effective date of this act\n\nmay be continued by a continuation statement as permitted by this\n\nact, except that if this act requires a filing in an office where\n\nthere was no previous financing statement, a new financing statement\n\nconforming to Section 11-105 shall be filed in that office.\n\n(4) If the record of a mortgage of real estate would have been\n\neffective as a fixture filing of goods described therein if this act\n\nhad been in effect on the date of recording the mortgage, the\n\nmortgage shall be deemed effective as a fixture filing as to such\n\ngoods under subsection (6) of Section 9-402 of this act on October\n\n1, 1981.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"45322f314ddbe820d09df9b1bf4911c26a4ff3b3e6dd81f703f6b67a3401e5a1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-11-103","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-11-105"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
