Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-15-103","heading":"Scope","body":"SCOPE\n\n(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section or as\n\notherwise provided by law, this act applies to electronic records\n\nand electronic signatures relating to a transaction.\n\n(b) This act does not apply to a transaction to the extent it\n\nis governed by:\n\n(1) a law governing the creation and execution of wills,\n\ncodicils, or testamentary trusts;\n\n(2) the Uniform Commercial Code, other than Sections 1-107 and\n\n1-206 of Title 12A of the Oklahoma Statutes and Article 2, and\n\nArticle 2A of Title 12A of the Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n(3) the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act; and\n\n(4) a consumer protection law of this state to the extent\n\nspecified by rule by the Administrator of the Department of Consumer\n\nCredit as necessary to conform to existing federal requirements or\n\nto preserve existing consumer protection requirements.\n\n(c) This act applies to an electronic record or electronic\n\nsignature otherwise excluded from the application of this act under\n\nsubsection (b) of this section to the extent it is governed by a law\n\nother than those specified in subsection (b) of this section.\n\n(d) A transaction subject to this act is also subject to other\n\napplicable substantive law.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1aa22e08a84d84fc3e26f156ead0ead68444204040c8d18bd6c8816d92204977","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-15-102","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-15-104"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
