Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2-206","heading":"Offer and Acceptance in Formation of Contract","body":"(1) Unless otherwise unambiguously indicated by the language or\n\ncircumstances\n\n(a) an offer to make a contract shall be construed as\n\ninviting acceptance in any manner and by any medium reasonable in\n\nthe circumstances;\n\n(b) an order or other offer to buy goods for prompt or\n\ncurrent shipment shall be construed as inviting acceptance either by\n\na prompt promise to ship or by the prompt or current shipment of\n\nconforming or nonconforming goods, but such a shipment of non-\n\nconforming goods does not constitute an acceptance if the seller\n\nseasonably notifies the buyer that the shipment is offered only as\n\nan accommodation to the buyer.\n\n(2) Where the beginning of a requested performance is a\n\nreasonable mode of acceptance an offeror who is not notified of\n\nacceptance within a reasonable time may treat the offer as having\n\nlapsed before acceptance.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6d25afc496a891e76ffbbcc215b32dc120cf59473725bf26ad272e8f46e48d42","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-205","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
