Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2-310","heading":"Open time for payment or running of credit - Authority","body":"to ship under reservation.\n\nOpen Time for Payment or Running of Credit; Authority to Ship\n\nUnder Reservation.\n\nUnless otherwise agreed:\n\n(a) payment is due at the time and place at which the buyer is\n\nto receive the goods even though the place of shipment is the place\n\nof delivery; and\n\n(b) if the seller is authorized to send the goods he may ship\n\nthem under reservation, and may tender the documents of title, but\n\nthe buyer may inspect the goods after their arrival before payment\n\nis due unless such inspection is inconsistent with the terms of the\n\ncontract (Section 2-513); and\n\n(c) if delivery is authorized and made by way of documents of\n\ntitle otherwise than by subsection (b) then payment is due\n\nregardless of where the goods are to be received (i) at the time and\n\nplace at which the buyer is to receive delivery of the tangible\n\ndocuments or (ii) at the time the buyer is to receive delivery of\n\nthe electronic documents and at the seller’s place of business or if\n\nnone, the seller’s residence; and\n\n(d) where the seller is required or authorized to ship the\n\ngoods on credit the credit period runs from the time of shipment but\n\npost-dating the invoice or delaying its dispatch will\n\ncorrespondingly delay the starting of the credit period.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"edc85d28c960ae1c4f1c54a1c1bccbd222163dd4902b50983ffcf2b009a5cfca","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-309","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
