Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2-318","heading":"Third Party Beneficiaries of Warranties Express or","body":"Implied.\n\nThird Party Beneficiaries of Warranties Express or Implied.\n\n(1) A seller's warranty whether express or implied extends to\n\nany natural person who is in the family or household of his buyer or\n\nwho is a guest in his home if it is reasonable to expect that such\n\nperson may use, consume or be affected by the goods and who is\n\ninjured in person by breach of the warranty.\n\n(2) This section does not displace principles of law and equity\n\nthat extend a warranty to or for the benefit of a buyer to other\n\npersons.\n\n(3) The operation of this section may not be excluded,\n\nmodified, or limited by a seller, but an exclusion, modification, or\n\nlimitation of the warranty, including any with respect to rights and\n\nremedies, effective against the buyer is also effective against any\n\nbeneficiary designated under this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"663644efd511ba2d9aeb042efbb457d8562ac33415d138d419053f7c2ad8460e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-317","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-319"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
