Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2-502","heading":"Buyer's Right to Goods on Seller's Insolvency","body":"Buyer's Right to Goods on Seller's Insolvency.\n\n(1) Subject to paragraphs (2) and (3) of this section and even\n\nthough the goods have not been shipped a buyer who has paid a part\n\nor all of the price of goods in which the buyer has a special\n\nproperty under the provisions of Section 2-501 of this title may on\n\nmaking and keeping good a tender of any unpaid portion of their\n\nprice recover them from the seller if:\n\n(a) in the case of goods bought for personal, family, or\n\nhousehold purposes, the seller repudiates or fails to deliver as\n\nrequired by the contract; or\n\n(b) in all cases, the seller becomes insolvent within ten (10)\n\ndays after receipt of the first installment on their price.\n\n(2) The buyer’s right to recover the goods under subparagraph\n\n(a) of paragraph (1) vests upon acquisition of a special property,\n\neven if the seller had not then repudiated or failed to deliver.\n\n(3) If the identification creating his special property has\n\nbeen made by the buyer he acquires the right to recover the goods\n\nonly if they conform to the contract for sale.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"92e2cca369e6e72521adacd8d706d0144b4aeac7f63d188a72b6606e43a940a4","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-501","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-503"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
