Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2-602","heading":"Manner and Effect of Rightful Rejection","body":"(1) Rejection of goods must be within a reasonable time after\n\ntheir delivery or tender. It is ineffective unless the buyer\n\nseasonably notifies the seller.\n\n(2) Subject to the provisions of the two following sections on\n\nrejected goods (Section 2-603 and 2-604),\n\n(a) after rejection any exercise of ownership by the buyer\n\nwith respect to any commercial unit is wrongful as against the\n\nseller; and\n\n(b) if the buyer has before rejection taken physical\n\npossession of goods in which he does not have a security interest\n\nunder the provisions of this article (subsection (3) of Section 2-\n\n711), he is under a duty after rejection to hold them with\n\nreasonable care at the seller's disposition for a time sufficient to\n\npermit the seller to remove them; but\n\n(c) the buyer has no further obligations with regard to\n\ngoods rightfully rejected.\n\n(3) The seller's rights with respect to goods wrongfully\n\nrejected are governed by the provisions of this article on Seller's\n\nremedies in general (Section 2-703).","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c99aea979561c7cd2cb68d009f423dbce2fb589fc7202ef9e5ce74b9b9b552ab","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-601","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-603"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
