Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2-711","heading":"Buyer's Remedies in General; Buyer's Security Interest","body":"in Rejected Goods.\n\n(1) Where the seller fails to make delivery or repudiates or the\n\nbuyer rightfully rejects or justifiably revokes acceptance then with\n\nrespect to any goods involved, and with respect to the whole if the\n\nbreach goes to the whole contract (Section 2-612), the buyer may\n\ncancel and whether or not he has done so may in addition to\n\nrecovering so much of the price as has been paid\n\n(a) \"cover\" and have damages under the next section as to\n\nall the goods affected whether or not they have been identified to\n\nthe contract; or\n\n(b) recover damages for nondelivery as provided in this\n\narticle (Section 2-713).\n\n(2) Where the seller fails to deliver or repudiates the\n\nbuyer may also\n\n(a) if the goods have been identified recover them as\n\nprovided in this article (Section 2-502); or\n\n(b) in a proper case obtain specific performance or\n\nreplevy the goods as provided in this article (Section 2-716).\n\n(3) On rightful rejection or justifiable revocation of\n\nacceptance of buyer has a security interest in goods in his\n\npossession or control for any payments made on their price and any\n\nexpenses reasonably incurred in their inspection, receipt,\n\ntransportation, care and custody and may hold such goods and resell\n\nthem in like manner as an aggrieved seller (Section 2-706).","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"95223b87e24055d80082fcaf36d9fdbbf75c96c38489ff186e4f32664988d2bd","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-710","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2-712"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
