Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2A-210","heading":"Express warranties","body":"EXPRESS WARRANTIES\n\n(1) Express warranties by the lessor are created as follows:\n\n(a) Any affirmation of fact or promise made by the\n\nlessor to the lessee which relates to the goods and becomes part of\n\nthe basis of the bargain creates an express warranty that the goods\n\nwill conform to the affirmation or promise.\n\n(b) Any description of the goods which is made part\n\nof the basis of the bargain creates an express warranty that the\n\ngoods will conform to the description.\n\n(c) Any sample or model that is made part of the\n\nbasis of the bargain creates an express warranty that the whole of\n\nthe goods will conform to the sample or model.\n\n(2) It is not necessary to the creation of an express warranty\n\nthat the lessor use formal words, such as \"warrant\" or \"guarantee\",\n\nor that the lessor have a specific intention to make a warranty, but\n\nan affirmation merely of the value of the goods or a statement\n\npurporting to be merely the lessor's opinion or commendation of the\n\ngoods does not create a warranty.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"18c24105325eb92d0d8226be18f65aaa984e3a81d441d6698db0120423ae0ccf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-209","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
