Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2A-216","heading":"Third party beneficiaries of express and implied","body":"warranties.\n\nTHIRD PARTY BENEFICIARIES OF EXPRESS AND\n\nIMPLIED WARRANTIES\n\n(1) A warranty to or for the benefit of a lessee under this\n\narticle, whether express or implied, extends to any natural person\n\nwho is in the family or household of the lessee or who is a guest in\n\nthe lessee's home if it is reasonable to expect that such person may\n\nuse, consume, or be affected by the goods and who is injured in\n\nperson by breach of the warranty.\n\n(2) This section does not displace principles of law and equity\n\nthat extend a warranty to or for the benefit of a lessee to other\n\npersons.\n\n(3) The operation of this section may not be excluded,\n\nmodified, or limited, but an exclusion, modification, or limitation\n\nof the warranty, including any with respect to rights and remedies,\n\neffective against the lessee is also effective against any\n\nbeneficiary designated under this section.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3961f7bd18b0bb693bcaaa6289208fbc0cda8b1787d0c9a5a9ca4299aa95e985","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-215","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-217"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
