Stat. tit. 12A, § 12A-2A-514","heading":"Waiver of lessee's objections","body":"WAIVER OF LESSEE'S OBJECTIONS\n\n(1) In rejecting goods, a lessee's failure to state a\n\nparticular defect that is ascertainable by reasonable inspection\n\nprecludes the lessee from relying on the defect to justify rejection\n\nor to establish default:\n\n(a) if, stated seasonably, the lessor or the supplier could\n\nhave cured it (Section 2A-213 of this title); or\n\n(b) between merchants if the lessor or the supplier after\n\nrejection has made a request in writing for a full and final written\n\nstatement of all defects on which the lessee proposes to rely.\n\n(2) A lessee's failure to reserve rights when paying rent or\n\nother consideration against documents precludes recovery of the\n\npayment for defects apparent in the documents.","path":["OK Code","Title 12A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os12A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e7d368b21f049624f2179fe7a24c82cbc42dfb2a307a75b599b45aa28c89acd6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-513","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-12a-12a-2a-515"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
